About Personal Information
Orinos Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information, and in compliance with laws and guidelines, will handle personal information appropriately, take suitable measures for its safe management, and maintain and improve these efforts.

Definition of Personal Information
"Personal information" refers to personal information as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (information relating to a living individual by which a specific individual can be identified, including name, address, telephone number, etc.), as well as email addresses, passwords, credit card and other information used in association with a specific individual, together with related information on purchase transactions integrated therewith, and other attribute information relating to an individual.

Cookie and IP Address Information
We do not consider cookies and IP address information to be personal information, as they cannot by themselves identify a specific individual. However, if such information is used in combination with personal information, we regard it as personal information as well. In the media operated by the Company, whenever we use cookies and IP address information—even if a specific individual cannot be identified—we will disclose the purpose and method of such use. Cookie information can be refused through your browser settings.

Specification of the Purpose of Use of Personal Information
In handling personal information, the Company specifies the purpose of its use as far as possible. The purposes of use of the personal information collected by the Company are as follows.
- As the destination for confirmation emails sent when you apply, cancel your membership, or change your registered information
- As reference information when confirming, investigating, or replying to inquiries received regarding our company or the services we provide
- To send information on technical support such as fault information and maintenance information for the services we provide, or to announce information deemed useful to customers such as new services, new products, and feature improvements
- To ship products, prizes, gifts, and the like
- To compile the personal information you register into statistical data within a scope that cannot identify individuals, and use it as reference material for developing services useful to customers
- To provide the services we offer and related services, and to manage users of our services
- For other purposes of use to which you have consented after we have publicly disclosed the purpose of use in providing each service

Restrictions on the Use of Personal Information
We will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without first obtaining the consent of the individual. Even when we acquire personal information due to a merger or other reason, we will not handle it beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use prior to the succession without first obtaining the consent of the individual. However, this shall not apply in the following cases.
- When based on laws and regulations
- When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government body, a local public entity, or a person entrusted by them in carrying out the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the performance of those affairs

Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
We acquire personal information properly and will not acquire it through deception or other wrongful means.

Notification of the Purpose of Use upon Acquiring Personal Information
When acquiring personal information, we publicly disclose its purpose of use in advance. However, this shall not apply in the following cases.
- When notifying the individual of the purpose of use or publicly disclosing it is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
- ) When notifying the individual of the purpose of use or publicly disclosing it is likely to harm the rights or legitimate interests of our company
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government body or a local public entity in carrying out the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and notifying the individual of the purpose of use or publicly disclosing it is likely to impede the performance of those affairs
- When the purpose of use is deemed clear from the circumstances of acquisition

Changes to the Purpose of Use of Personal Information
When we change the purpose of use of personal information, we will not do so beyond a scope reasonably deemed to have substantial relevance to the pre-change purpose, and we will notify the individual of, or publicly announce, the changed purpose of use.

Safe Management of Personal Information and Supervision of Employees
We clearly establish internal rules regarding the handling of personal information and supervise our employees so that they handle personal information appropriately.

Supervision of Contractors
When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, we conclude a contract including confidentiality obligations with the contractor, or request the contractor's agreement to the terms established by us, and carry out necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the contractor manages personal information safely.

Restriction on Provision to Third Parties
Except in the following cases, we will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the individual's prior consent.
- When based on laws and regulations
- When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government body, a local public entity, or a person entrusted by them in carrying out the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the performance of those affairs
- When the following matters have been notified or made public in advance
1) That the purpose of use includes provision to third parties
2) The items of data provided to third parties
3) The means or method of provision to third parties
※When jointly using personal information with a third party or providing it to a contractor, we will separately investigate the recipient, conclude necessary agreements such as a confidentiality agreement, and appropriately process and manage the personal information.
4) Stopping the provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the individual. However, the following cases do not fall under the third parties defined above.
(1) When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
(2) When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reason
(3) When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the individual has been notified in advance, or the information is in a state where the individual can easily become aware, of the fact of such use, the items of personal information used jointly, the scope of the parties using it jointly, the purpose of use by such parties, and the name of the party responsible for the management of the personal information
When we change the purpose of use by the users specified in (3) above, or the name of the person responsible for managing personal information, we will notify the individual in advance of the details of the change, or place them in a state where the individual can readily become aware of them.

Publication of Matters Concerning Personal Information
We place the following matters concerning personal information in a state where the individual can become aware of them, and respond without delay to the individual's request.
- The purpose of use of personal information (excluding, however, matters for which the Act on the Protection of Personal Information stipulates there is no such obligation. If we decide not to respond, we will notify the individual to that effect without delay.)

Disclosure of Personal Information
When an individual requests disclosure of the personal information that identifies them, we will disclose it without delay by the method prescribed by law. However, if disclosure would fall under any of the following, we may not disclose all or part of it, and if we decide not to disclose, we will notify the individual to that effect without delay.
- When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
- When there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper conduct of our business
- When it would violate other laws and regulations
Please note that, as a general rule, we do not disclose information other than personal information, such as access logs.

Correction, etc. of Personal Information
When an individual requests correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter "correction, etc.") of the content of the personal information that identifies them on the grounds that the content is not factual, we will, except where special procedures are prescribed by other laws and regulations regarding such correction, etc., conduct the necessary investigation without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, make the correction, etc. of the content of the personal information based on the results, and notify the individual to that effect.

Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information
When an individual requests that we suspend the provision of the personal information identifying them to a third party on the grounds that it is being provided to a third party in violation of the provisions of paragraphs (1) through (4) of the main text of Article 10 "Restriction on Provision to Third Parties" (not including the proviso and thereafter), and it is found that the request has grounds, we will suspend the provision of said personal information to third parties without delay. However, this shall not apply where suspending the provision to third parties requires substantial expense or is otherwise difficult, and we take alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the individual.

Explanation of reasons
When we decide any of the following despite a request from the individual, we will endeavor to explain the reason when notifying the individual of that decision.
(1) Not to notify the purpose of use
(2) Not to disclose all or part of the personal information
(3) Not to suspend the use, etc. of the personal information
(4) Not to stop the provision of the personal information to third parties -
